I've been wanting to buy a Seiko mechanical watch for about 2 years. I was considering purchasing the Seiko Blueberry internationally and shipping to SA. Imagine my surprise when I found this beauty on the Seiko SA website. But, wait it gets even better, the blueberry was on promotion at 25% discount on the father's day Sale! Purchased immediately and couldn't be happier. This watch is fantastic, a beauty to look at and my first proper watch. I spent thousands on other fashion branded watches, and im tired of changing batteries on quartz watches. Its been about 2 months..and im still in love with this watch. Wife doesnt know it yet..but she's getting seiko mechanical watch for her birthday!

“Akebono”colour even more beautiful in the flesh, can’t be fully appreciated on pics. (Dial is not blue as in description above, rather a dark indigo). Black stainless hard coating works well with the rose gold.

Looks much better in person than I expected. Nice, deep green colour that goes well with most outfits, giving off a Rolex "Hulk" Submariner vibe. Very happy with my choice.
