We want you to join us in showing out with your favourite ‘5’ snaps. What do we mean?


This June, we’re embarking on the coolest visual journey of them all, with Seiko 5 Snaps.


We want you to rep your streets by ‘snapping’ & sharing pics of the number ‘5’ in any format and

you stand a chance to win your very own limited-edition Seiko 5 Sports watch!

Here’s how it works:


1)     Following @seiko5sports & @seikosouthafrica on Instagram.

2)     Find the number ‘5’ anywhere around you, snap a pic & share this on your Instagram using #With5Snaps

(must be a post, stories entries won’t be considered as entries).

3)     You could be featured on the global Seiko 5 Snaps Look book site & stand a chance to win that awesome watch from Seiko South Africa.

4)     You can get as creative with your snaps as you want, any ‘5’ counts!

Dos & Don’ts:

1)     Participant MUST be visible in the photo.

2)     The number ‘5” must be clearly visible.

3)     The use of animation such as emojis is allowed.

4)     Be creative & show us your true sense of style.

5)     Any ‘5’ is allowed, such as road signs, floor signage of the building, room numbers, gestures & even handwritten.

6)     NO political message, nor images in the background are allowed.

7)     NO images of actions that cause trouble, disadvantage, damage, or discomfort to others.

8)     NO slander, libel, or defamation of the reputation or credibility of others

9)     NO posting of data that promotes obscenity, child pornography or the sexual exploitation of children or others.

Terms & Conditions

  • The competition in South Africa runs from 1-30 June 2021.
  • Winner will be announced on 2 July 2021.
  • Competition is open South African residents only.
  • There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
  • The winner will be chosen through a judging panel. The judges’ decision is final.
  • Entrants give Seiko South Africa permission to showcase their images to the public.
  • In the event of Seiko South Africa not being able to contact the finalists, Seiko South Africa reserves the right to draw again.
  • The winner will be notified via telephonic communication by the 2 July 2021 & will  have until 7 July 2021 to accept their prize.
  • The prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Once the prize is handed to each winner, Seiko South Africa is not responsible for  replacing or repairing any damaged items.
  • Entries reflected on Seiko South Africa’s records will be treated as the only              validation source and will be the only evidence of successful entries.
  • Participants in the competition understand and agree that to offer the competition    Seiko South Africa must collect use personal information about participants. This    competition is conducted under the terms of applicable privacy statements.
  • The participant unconditionally and irrevocably indemnifies and holds harmless      Seiko South Africa and its employees, officers, suppliers, contractors, agents,          consultants, directors and shareholders against all and any losses, claims,              proceedings, actions, damages, (direct, consequential or otherwise), liability,          demands, expenses, legal costs (on an attorney and own client basis), medical      costs or other costs howsoever arising out of, based upon, or in connection with      (directly or indirectly) the participants participation in the competition, to the            maximum extent permitted by law.
  • If a participant contravenes the above-mentioned Terms & Conditions or misrepresents the brand in any way, the participant may, in Seiko South Africa’s discretion, be disqualified from the competition.
  • Seiko South Africa reserves the right to cancel or alter any aspect of the competition at any time at its sole discretion without liability.
